To compliment the look of the mural a soft cream was applied to surrounding walls. The handrail completed with a multi-metallic finish adding interest to the previously cold white finish. Pearlescent white metallic paint can be found delicately applied on the tray ceiling above. On the perimeter of ceiling line you will find trim work painted in a deep silver metallic with a subtle gold “antique” wash.

To visit our work, first hand, please follow link for directions.
http://www.ourladyoflebanon-dc.org/directions.html.

elements participated in the Washington design center, Spring 2008 DESIGN HOUSE.
Lead artist, Jen Reyes worked exclusively along side Interior Designer Dennesse Guadaloupe Rojas from Interiors by Design and Christine Barnett from Christine Nicole Productions, INC.

This spring at Washington Design Center , nine of the area’s top Interior Designers have created the “ What Hue Inspire You? ” DESIGN HOUSE, featuring exquisite spaces with a variety of color palettes.

Dennesse’s inspiration to her beautifully designed Bedroom and Lounge was the hue silver - hence the title of her work, “Silver Lining.” The finishes used in this master piece are, BEDROOM, faux encaustic ( an effect to resemble the look of stone ) with a soft silver damask stencil overlay repeat that wraps around the room. Topped with a silver 10” strip that also circumferences the room interior walls. LOUNGE, to complete the look we added two toned 10” stripes that repeat from floor to ceiling. Giving this area a different look, treating this space as it’s own while remaining cohesive with the theme and style.

Courtesy of The Washington Design Center
